Why should one volunteer at the Cobequid Interpretive Center?

Volunteers at the Center are ambassadors of Cobequid Bay area. They help make special memories for visitors to the Center. A volunteer’s knowledge of local history, the natural world of The Bay of Fundy, and local recreational resources can be useful tools for shaping each visitor’s time at the Center into a great experience.

Often, the Center receives visitors with extensive knowledge on a particular subject, and drop some knowledge on us! Volunteers are amazed at how much they’ve learned.

Plus, it’s just plain FUN to be here. Surrounded by incredible natural beauty outside, and loaded with fun inside, the Center is just a great place to be. And helping visitors learn something new, especially kids, can be incredibly rewarding.

We provide all training necessary. So if you’re looking for a fun way to help your community, the Cobequid Interpretive Center might just be the place for you!
